TERMS OF USE:

AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION - The Federal Avaiation Administration's (FAA) Laboratory Capabilities Tool is maintained by the Federal Aviation Administration's Laboratory Services Division (LSD) that provides single-sign-on (authentication) for the creation and administration of aviation laboratory information for population of the FAA Laboratory Capabilities Database. This User Agreement constitutes a legal agreement between you and the United States FAA. You must accept without modification all of the terms, conditions, and notices contained in this User Agreement in order to access and use The FAA's Laboratory Guide Administration Services. If you do not accept these Terms of Use in their entirety, you may not access or use The Federal Avaiation Administration's Laboratory Capabilities Tool. Completing your Laboratory Guide Administration enrollment and using your Laboratory Guide Administration account indicates your acceptance of this User Agreement. Under this User Agreement it is your responsibility to keep your account under your personal control at all times. You are responsible for all activities that occur in your account and you agree to notify the Laboratory Services Division of the FAA immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. The FAA is not responsible for any loss that you may incur as a result of any unauthorized person using your account or your password. Your FAA Laboratory Guide Administration identity can only be used by one person (yourself). Your password must be kept secret.

MODIFICATION OF THESE TERMS OF USE - The FAA LSD may wish to update or change the User Agreement from time to time to reflect changes in the service, changes in the laws affecting the Services, or for other good reasons. The FAA LSD will make reasonable efforts to notify participants of any changes. However, the FAA LSDreserves the right to make these changes unilaterally, and your continued access to or use shall constitute your consent to such changes.

PRIVACY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION - You are required to enroll in the system to use the services. To enroll, you must provide information about yourself and authorize FAA LSD to verify your information by reference to other information sources. The FAA LSD agrees that it will only use your personal information in accordance with the terms of the FAA LSD Privacy Policy.

NO UNLAWFUL OR PROHIBITED USE - As a condition of your use , you agree that you will not use the Laboratory Guide Administration web service for any purpose that is unlawful or contrary to this User Agreement. You also may not use the web service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the system or interfere with any other party's use of the system. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any Laboratory Guide Administration account, computer systems or networks associated with the FAA. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through the web-service.

TERMINATION/ACCESS RESTRICTION - The FAA LSD reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. The FAA LSD may also terminate or suspend your access to for inactivity, which is defined as failing to sign in for an extended period of time, as determined by the FAA LSD. The amount of time that the FAA LSD currently considers an "extended" period of time is 18 months. A notice of termination/ suspension will be sent via email to the registered user prior to termination/suspesion. Upon termination of your account, your right to use the web-service immediately ceases.

GENERAL - This User Agreement is governed by the laws of the United States of America . The FAA LSD's performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this User Agreement is in derogation of the FAA LSD's right to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the web-services or information provided to or gathered by the FAA LSD with respect to such use. You agree to indemnify and hold the FAA harmless from any claim, demand, or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, asserted by any third party due to or arising out of your use of or conduct on the Laboratory Capabilities Tool. If any part of this User Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of this User Agreement shall continue in effect. This User Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the FAA LSD with respect to Laboratory Capabilities Tool.
